The longest one-syllable word in the English language is "screeched."
So, just what is the best web portal ever?
Miscandywill71 writes "Hi guys,

we are holding the following question session over at http://portalblog.org

Please get involved and do your bit for the "Portal Virgins" out there ...

I know that many of you readers will know what phrases like portal and CMS refer to - so I won’t test your intelligence.

There is one question, however, that has always divided users of these systems:

Which one is actually the best?

I know what you’re probably thinking? “How can we compare them? They’re all different and unique in

their own way. Each of them carries different features and flaws”
This is true so that is why we are going to ask the following 5 questions (and amalgamate our answers):

Which one has the best features
Which one has the best security
Which one is the most user friendly
Which one has the best (or largest) user base & support
Which one provides the best templates/themes system?

I know we could ask a whole lot more - but these will do for now.

So, if you’re a user of :

Drupal, phpNuke, Postnuke, Xoops, e107, Joomla (or Mambo) or another PHP Portal/CMS
ASPNuke, Rainbow Portal etc
Some other ASP, .NET, JSP (and the rest) portal
then leave your comments here. Hopefully we can clear up a few old arguements (without starting too many

new ones …)

You can leave your comments at http://www.portalblog.org

Thanks!
