When i click on decending (to see the latest member) it just goes back to the first registered page.

Its v 6.8 and when you click on the dropdown beside the sort method for ascending or decending it just keep going to acending which is the first joined page not the last joined page. I have 10 pages of members list and when you click on decending it should automatically send you to the 10th page.
Presumably running the default version of phpbb that came with it then which is 2.0.4, the forum version is currently at 2.0.8.
If you don't want to upgrade then just get the upgrade and use the memberlist/index.php file, that'll solve it.
