[Resolved] Invisible Modules...visible
I'm having a spot of bother with my modules block. I'm using it as a nav bar at the side of my nuke but as well as showing the visible blocks it's displaying the invisible ones and deactives ones to everyone who views my site.
I'm hoping there's a solution to this as I don't want to rip the code out of the block script.
Cheers,
Bailz.
Can I have a linkto the site please, and also is it the standard modules block
We're at
http://www.bhabits.co.uk
It is the standard one.

Bailz.
Looks ok to me, it will show all invisable and deactivated modules to the admins, so if your loged in as an admin you will see everything, try loging out of the admin section and see if you just see the normal modules block.
If thats not the issue then let me know
Yeah, i thought that might be the problem at first so i logged out, cleaned out cookies and things(incase they'd log me back in as an admin). 'Borrowed' a low-level account went back in and it's still displaying the invisible modules to me.
Could it be that I have my 'God' session still active, even though I'm not logged in as my Admin account? It could pick up on this and display it because of that.
Bailz.
Edit: I've double-checked that I'm logged out. It is showing "Create An Account" at the top and prompting me to log in in the user menu
There is definitely something funny going on!
There are 2 different accounts that you will have with your username, a user one and an admin one.
You login and out of the normal user account at
Code: :
www.yoursite.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account
This account will have no bearing on PHP-Nuke Admin functions or permissions (although it is linked to some things reagrding the Forum admin access)
The second account you have is your admin acoount and that is loged in and out of by going to
Code: :
www.yoursite.com/admin.php
So it sounds to me that you have loded out or your user account in which case if you are still loged in as an admin you will still see the hidden modules and so on, I have just double checked and I cant see any hidden or deactivated modules in your modules block
Go to www.yoursite.com/admin.php and that will take you to the admin section, then, use the logout button/image to log out of the admin section. See does that resolve it
Cheers Dashe,
I didn't know that there was that kind of distinction between the two accounts, just that there were two of them. That's it all sorted now!

Bailz.
How do I mark as resolved?
Bailz.
Unfotunitly there is no option to just mark it resolved which would be nice but if you want you can edit the first post in this topic and place a [Resolved] at the start of the topic title
