Your account - Your info - Your avatar & Forums Avatars.

Hello,
I have a bit of a problem setting up a personal avatar in your accoutn/your info. (should they all be less than 6kb and 80by80?)
Also in Forums/profile i cant allways get the avs to work properly straight off.
Well i have an avatar package from http://www.portedmods.com/index.html
The images are pretty but as it says in the forums they got to be 80by80 and less than 6kb, so i have 1800 pretty pics that im thinkin of editing down to the rite size.
This your info in your account and profile in the forums seems to be working agenst each other or something i cant explain exactely.
The avatars dont show untill i mess around in the forums and also your info, so im not sure how to get them working straight away like they should.

Do they build up in the data base or something that i need to delete for a chosen user?

I kinda usderstand that your account/your info and Forums/profile are two different areas, so i presume the avs work for two different areas as in your account and forums profile avatar selection, is there a wy maybe a user would only have to goto one place rather than 2, to fix their av?
Hoe this isint to confusing

Hi sounds.. Try admin/forums/(General Admin) configuration. there you will find the avatar size info and will be able to adjust to suite. Laughing

reply..

Hi weydave, thanks!
The personal avs in "your info" and the avs in the forums are the same
images right? hmmm...
The av pack that i got new has image sizes at 126 by 100 or sumthin like that, im thinkin, if i use them as they are, il lhave a problem loading them again like before, cos theres some problem where i have to select the save av from you info in order for the forum avs to work and for it to show on the home page or vice virsa, yes im confusing myself to, but cant figure this out.. bla blabla
