Web Host Suggestions
For years I have hosted my website on my own server
2.8Gig P4
4 gig 800ddr Ram
Windows Server 2000
364 Business Band Upload
I still use this computer for our Gaming Server and our Gaming websites but for my new business I am in search of a FAST reliable stable webhost for a phpnuke site.
I used the newest Nuke-Platinum on my business website on my server but it is slow. My customers I have talked to personally and they agree with me.
If anyone could point me in the right direction please do.

taI have had bad experiences with a few hosts but the one I am with now and they seem quite well are http://www.vizaweb.com . They are based in the US and the uptime is MUCH better than what I have experienced with others. My last host OKTAGONE really sucked, they had great prices but their uptime is nowhere what they claim and when you try to ask for your refund you are s**t outta luck.
by the way I too have just downloaded nuke platinum and I like what I see, all those little pesky modules that you have to edit yourself are already installed. Not all but many of the big ones.

Which plan are you using? This site seams fairly quick... that's what I'm looking for. I am completely new to the outside hosting though. Can I just transfer my whole nuke site over to thier server?

I believe they'll transfer your site too, if you request it.
wv1973 your site works fast as well. I have hosted my site for years but never really had a reason to really have it real fast. But now with my business I'm afraid that I may loose customers.
Do I need a FTP program or is one usually included with the packages? I also seen that some of them have a e-commerce program already? Is that some template that you can use instead of the phpnuke? Sorry if I'm sounding stupid. Just always done this myself. Just isn't cost effective to purchase a faster upload connection. I'm already at $70.00 a month for a 364 upload and 1.5 download.
