Issues with God password. (I looked at Common Probs & So

Hello.

Straight to it then. I have been on other forums and nobody seems interested in helping somebody with 6.7. If I could just get my problems sorted out I could start upgrading all the way up to 7.6. (I’ve joined the club!) I hope that phpnukies can help me. I won't tell you which site though because of security issues. If and when I get sorted out I will tell you then.

Firstly, where to start: I suppose I could start with this:

This stopped working after I moved my admin.php file. I could still get into admin and everything else worked but submission. At the same time though, I was installing the extralite theme. Stupidly.

So, this is what happens: I write the news, I hit preview, I get to visit my home page and that’s it. (It throws me back to my home page.)

I have learnt from this. I'll do one thing at a time from now on after backups and do some serious testing!

You would be prompted to create the super user next time you accessed admin.php

Hi.

I have uploaded admin.php from the updates that you mentioned and I got the following error.

Bear in mind that in the readme file it says to upload the files one at a time and then test. I also uploaded the admin folder thinking that the reference might be in there, but no such luck!

Any ideas?

Seems a bit daft to upload one file at a time IMO

I should imagine the newer files are calling on newer functions in files such as mainfile.php etc

I did upload the new mainfile.php after it caused a problem, but it still didn't work.

I will try to upload all the files one late evening and see how it goes. Scary stuff though...
