Cannot set a home page module
hello there...
sorry for this being my first post and asking for help
i have used the search tool but failed to find anything like my problem so im very sorry if it has been answered before.. just a simple link will be exelent if it has
im all very new to phpnuke... i just purchased the latest version last night and cut a long story short it is all working fine apart from this!
now i dont know if its ment to say that once your first install or not :/
anyway i do as it says and i go to the modules section... and i see that i have to put one in the homepage.. and it will turn bold.. but this is what happenes when i do that
and then...
it fails to do anything .... and i still have the error on the index page... :S is this something i have done wrong or am i simply misunderstanding something... many thanks in advance to anyone who can help.....

Why!!!!
As a side note 7.7 and 7.8 are buggy as hell and really insecure.
My personal opinion is to not use it so do a fresh install 7.6 if you have nothing to lose.
oh crap..... just wasted my money then ><

hmm if you think thats best then i suppose il do that.... lol
