How to bypass article approval
Yep, it's me again with another question. I want to allow all members to post news articles that will appear straight away rather than needing to be approved by a mod. I did follow the instructions in the Nuke HowTo guide, but it didn't seem to work because clicking on the 'submit news' button brought up a blank page. I am running Nuke 7.7 so I think the walkthrough on there must have been out of date. Anybody able to help me out? Thanks a lot
That is a totally bad idea, even more so on an insecure version like 7.7.
It will allow anybody to post/run malicious code on your site.
ack... well yeah i know that. would it be possible, then, to just make certain users able to do it? the people who use the site are not gonna be the malicious type, lol.
Yep, just make them an admin account but only give them permission to post articles.
