Smtp problem with Posts
Having problem with forum when posting and sending Pm's this error comes up

But the message goes to forum and Pm's too.Problem is people think coz of the error page,it hasnt posted,so they go back and repost till the error is gone and then you have multiple posts of the same message...
I cant find smtp.php....
Error come up only now and again but mostly with Pm's!
smtp.php is in the includes folder.
this usually happens when a person has selected to be notified when a new reply to a topic they have replied to has been posted - or to be notified when a new PM arrives and more often than not because it is an invalid email addy in their profile.
You could also turn of the smtp function in Admin / Preferences and let Nuke use its own inbuilt mailer.
check the option is turned off in Admin / Forums / Preferences too....
