Restore database problem

I am currently rebuilding my site on a new server and have nuke platinum 7.6.0 installed on both ..
When i try restoring database on new servr i get this error

Error importing backup file

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '

Any ideas

And you are doing this where?

The only place you can restore a db backup is via phpmyadmin.

If you are trying to do this through the phpbb backup section it aint gonna work.

The error you posted is not complete. What does it tell you more. Which line is causing this?

Like i said i never done this before and really need an idiots guide

You need to backup using the export function in phpmyadmin and then restore using the sql function.

During the export check the add drop table button and it will stop errors like
