1. Its a PM to a site staff member asking for help when it clearly states NOT to do this.
2. There is no Nuke copyright on the site in question. The footer HAS been edited to remove it.
3. User has not searched the forums before asking for help - all of his questions have answer in the forum - if he had searched then he would have found them.
4. He is using a version of Nuke we don't support.
5. Joins site as user - goes straight to PM's and send me that message - then leaves / closes browser.

Its simple, follow our straight forward rules and we all get along. However, as Dirk said, good look finding another support site where you are guaranteed a reply and an eventual solution to your problem. Although you may not get along with other support sites also with an attitude like that.

We have rules at this site and PM'ing the staff with general queries is not allowed - they belong in the forum - hence me posting it there - there was nothing personal or private about it.
You misunderstood obviously the note on the front page - that is for asking about rates and availability of PAID FOR services.

If I could make a suggestion being new here....
After testing PHP-Nuke and many other pay CMS solutions, I found Joomla (formerly Mambo) @ http://www.joomla.org/ which is 100% free, supported worldwide, 700 components, mods, bots, 1000's of templates, etc and works straight out, no probs. I have had several friends attempt hacking the sites, and none have worked. Ity is very stable & secure and the people who work on it may ask for a "donation" but don't require payment.
Not trying to bash or flame, yet since this is "General Discussion", thought I'd let people like myself know that other solutions exist out here which don't require a person to download a hacked version of the software to test it.
Hope this helps some people out.
I personally have teste PHP-Nuke and do find it a nice package, yet see WAY too many hacks for it out in the warez world.
Please refrain from spamming the forum with Joomla references. Nuke is also 100%free, supported worldwide, plenty of components 100's templates etc. As long as security is in place it also cannot be hacked. The versions I run on sites I install are stable and secure.
You have made 2 posts and both of them seem to be knocking Nuke and spamming for Joomla. OK - so yeah there are other CMS's available - I happen to like Nuke, and I actually found Mambo rather ugly and awkward... maybe things changed when it became "Joomla" I neither know nor care.
You would also be rather naive to believe that there are NO hacks against Mambo / Joomla out there in the warez world.
Right that doesnt answer my question but hey lol! Dont expect anything to much!
