Sentinel & patch 2.9+

Thanks for all your help so far, I probably would have given up on php by now without it.

I'm looking into putting sentinel security into the site.

first of all, how easy is it to set up?

Second of all i've read that it requires patch 2.9 installed as well.

I aint sure if i have already installed this patch, as i downgraded from 7.9 to what i believe is a patched version of 7.6.

Is there a way to tell if i have this patch installed?

Also if i dont have the required patch installed, where can i find it?

TIA!

Where did you get the 7.6 from?

cant remember, i had that many beers and downloaded that many different versions when installing. Although I am sure i got a patched version.

Is there a way to check?

Try looking in mainfile.php, I know it says version no. in patch 3.1, maybe its the same in older versions too.
