but I am seeing posts on here for higher versions
.I am considering moving my site to php-nuke. I did a fresh install which was version 7.7 and I upgraded the forum to 2.0.19. Does the nuke side "need" to be upgraded? Am I missing any patches with the current version?

There is one around - but I would have to Google for it.
bbtonuke converter would be what I would search for.
