how do i get the forum to multiply the number of posts and topics in a forum by 10, so it appears there is ten times more posts than there actually is ?
Why would you want to do that?? If its to make your forum look more active then it actually is, then it would most likely backfire as people would be more put off joining your forum if you lie to get members then few posts IMO.
mmmm, it makes sense, but I have heard it is a good way! maybe i will give it a miss this time then

To let users think you are running a very popular forum is a behavior I don't like. Create a website which a user attract. And let them come back reading more usefull stuff by adding more content. Don't deceive people, otherwise they will never come back again.
