Adding custom post formatting buttons to forum.

Hello there,

I've had PHPnuke for a while and was just wondering what files I'd need to edit and where in order to add one button to the forum message posting screen. It should sit alongside the buttons like "B" and "i", etc and I hope to use it to enter:

Code: :
ARTICLE NAME

Where the URL is the URL of a mediawiki we have running upon the site, and the ARTICLE NAME is the name of an article that either exists or has yet to be edited (it's cool either way since the wiki either shows the content or allows users to create some).

Basically this is an attempt to integrate some of the wiki features with the rest of the site so that users are going to be more likely to find it useful. I was hoping, much in the way that some of the formatting buttons mods already work, the button would pop up a dialogue box asking "Input article name" or something along those lines, which would then take that information and insert it into the URL as outlined above.

I can probably use an IF statement to check for spaces and add underscores where neccessary, since the wiki requires this for all URLs.

Any ideas? Smile site is http://www.sxgl.org, already with a button mod installed that replaces the default ones with newer style buttons (BBcode_Box from PortedMods.com, I think).
