Going back to Activation

Ok well recently I've been having a couple people register multiple accounts and spamming my site with worthless info. I've tried to just ban the IP but hes behind a proxy.

So basicly right now I have installed a mod to where the email activation doesn't need to be replied to to activate the account. Instead the just click a link right after the registation is over.

I want to revert back to the old ways. Do I need to do anything special or can I just put back in the old file that you get from download phpnuke?

How bout getting something l;ike CNB Your Account Tweak..... lets you ban a whole email domain if required.... and plenty of other useful features.... including requirement for admin approval on user accounts....

Sounds good. Where can I get it?

https://colaborar.softwarelivre.gov.br/project/showfiles.php?group_id=21 - Scroll down to "CNB Your Account 7.5 - 4.4"

K downloaded it. I'll have to wait till I unbann my self to use it now lol.

Thanks,
Death Dream

K well I was looking into this and saw that they don't have a version for 7.6 php nuke. Will this 7.5 CNB still work?

~Death Dream~

Im not sure on that, you can try it. You can remove it if it doesn't. Just make a backup first incase it does anything that stays there after removing it.

Yes it does - used it on many occasions on 7.6 sites.

K cool.

-Edit-
Eeeeh I'm not sure if its works. When I go to the admin panel and like the CNB admin pick it works fine and then I get the list of stuff. Some of the links work and some of them don't. The only ones that work is _ADDUSER, _YA_ADDFIELD, _COOKIECONFIG. But everthing else sends me right to a blank page with nothing but a white screen. Any Ideas? And I don't think it lets the users log out. So I'm going to put back all the files for a while.
