Intergration of phpbb2
Is thier any way i can import my database or phpbb2 forum into my ravens nuke site, i have read through the articles but cannot find the definate answer.
I would like to keep all my users and postings that are already on my forum and at present i have 2 databases on my server "mysql1 is my phpbb2 board" and "mysql2 is my ravensnuke site - thanks to bluelion
for sorting it for me"If i cannot intergrate them both together does anybody haveany suggestions................And sorry to be a pain but also i have heard of a program that lets members upload pictures to a gallery that is intergrated in with ravensnuke so people can see pictures on the front page of the site .......... i dont know whether i am allowed to post links but if not please delete it if its ok then what i am after is something like www.sportsbikeforum.co.uk and i am willing to pay for help as long as its not silly money as my fishing site is a hobby.
First you have to make sure both forums running same version!
As your PHP-Nuke installation is running 2.0.21 now, you only have to check your phpbb forum.
If both are at the same level, download http://www.phpnuke-nederland.com/downloadview-details-98-phpbbtonuke.html
Make sure you make a backup from both your Nuke tables as your phpbb tables!
The difference between the link above an your website is the CMS software. You're using a modified/improved version of PHP-Nuke, called RavenNuke, and the sportbike website is using E107!

The forum i am running is 2.0.21 also just had a look in my admin panel...... have been into my phpadmin for the databse on my sql1 and done an export back up to my pc so have it all in a what looks like a notepad file!
Safe it as a zip, or even better, gzip.

Ok i,ll go into the server now and save as a zip or gzip file all the database of my phpbb2
I would be very grateful if you could possibly have a look at it for me...have tried to get the gzipped files into the databse but cannot figure out how........thier are 2 gzipped files in the web folder on the server now which are the files from the database and the other is what i believe to be the templates!
I am terrible at trying to sort these things out
went and found gallery2 great downloaded it and got the patch thing.....could i install that 
no so i would realy appreciate any help possible on the installation and intergration of galler2 or any picture/video type module and the transfer of my phpbb2 into the ravensnuke i have installed please.Think i should stick to teaching people to fish!

BL You are a diamond m8 and i and my members are very grateful...........i do have one question though....how can i get avatars back for the users as everytime i goto upload an avatar it is just a box with a red x in it?
You are right, BL is an absolute diamond to take time out of his very busy schedule to personally help you as he has done.
