PHP-Nuke Newbie - Complete phpnuke newbie? want to ask a question before installing? or have installed and are now confused? this is the place.
Strange email problem
I am running my own web server and email,
i setup the smtp server host, username and password in the forum side and it sends the emails correctly, new users, replies to posts etc so the forum and authorisation is working there.
But new registrations are not getting the emails from the main site, where do i insert the smtp user details in the admin preferences, or do i need to edit a php file.
seems strange the forums working but not the main site. i can only presume it uses a different set of auth files or something

Just a note, when i use the resend email block i get an error
An error ocurred while trying to send the email.
Where do i setup the smtp host, username and password for nuke to send email?
