Youve probably been asked this a 1000 times i did try do a seach and 20+ pages came up..

My problem is when someone signs up the Verifying email they get is in Spanish..

Ive set the forum and the Board to be English by default. But it seems theres a spanish mouse in my script somewhere knackering things up.

Can someone advise which file/s i need to alter to get the email Sent in the english language plz. my phpnuke is 7.6

I found this topic when I searched for "spanish". Have a look through that topic.

Already seen that one, and as the idiot was using a higher nuke version there wasnt any help given

What I meant by posting that topic was to see if you got nuke from somewhere other then phpnuke.org or one of the installers. Also, what's your site's URL?

No, i'm not asking to see if you paid for it, Nuke is free (Including the latest "paid" version, you can get that for free elsewhere. He can charge for downloading from his site, yet can't do anything to stop free downloads from another site Wink

What i'm asking for is because there might be the possibility that someone has modified it to send spanish spam (which is obviously what happened in the topic I linked to eariler). Try putting the text you get in the email in Google translator and see if it looks like a verification email.

If it looks like spam, then install a new copy of nuke from one of the recommended versions on this sites homepage. If not, then I'm not sure why. The only thing I can think of is that the developers native language is Spanish (At least I think it is). Maybe it has something to do with that??

You might be right about he spam ive just recieved 10 emails all in fecking spanish the foreign shits are invading me now Wink

i got the theme for my site off one of the dodgy looking sites with great graphics and 10 year old programmers. so where can i edit it so people can sign up without email verification.......

The theme can't modify the email that is sent when users sign up to your site. It must be your particular copy of Nuke. Liked I asked before, where did you get it from?

i just went to google typed in free PHP NUKE THEMES and clicked on one, i never saved the addy just downloaded it but the site was in English and was a British site you could tell by the way they wrote certain things..

No, I meant your copy of Nuke. If it wasn't from phpnuke.org, I would recommend reinstalling with one of the recommended versions on the homepage of this site.

so is there anyway i could find this emailer session in my files and end it sort of ? and where would it be most likey to be..

And yes i understood about the PHPNUKE.org just wasnt to sure how to reply to it.
