Done everything, still get nuke database error

I have installed phpnuke, and created a database with all the right tables.
I have now followed the idiots guide to installing the nuke, and all the settings as seemingly as they should be. When I direct my browser to http://www.yourdomain.com/nukesql.php
i get a page that asks to enter the details into the nukesql.php if I havn't already done so. I have now done this, but the page keeps seying to do it.
If i click 'run a test' at the bottom, the page just seems to refresh, doing nothing atall.

If I then goto http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php I simply get the phpnuke error saying there is a problem with the SQL server and will be back shortly.

Please can anyone help?
Thanks

Hi... sure we can help.. first we need to see the site. can you please post your URL?

Thanks!!

Check the details are correct in your config.php

Still wanna see your URL though....

No Problem

The domain is... bear with me on this...
http://www.dog-yoghurt.co.uk/
My provider has uploaded some of there 'test' php files that work, but anything related to my nuke seems to show this error.

I have gon over my config.php several times, and seems to be right.

Any help would be good. Thanks dudes

Try running these and see what they say.

Hay thanks
I used them both, one was not as detailed as the other, but I hadn't deleted the nukesql.php, I removed that, and it works.

When I try to view the /admin.php or anyother, such as /index.php, I am now getting the error:
"There seems to be a problem with the MySQL server, sorry for the inconvenience.

We should be back shortly."

Sorry about multi posting.
I just wasnt with it, beeing working on this for 5 hours solid. and im tyred.
Thanks again

And you are also using a version of Nuke we don't support.
