General Discussion And Chat - Talk about anything non nuke here, chew the fat, funny stories, jokes etc.
Thanks for nothing !! please update your site .... !
I came here via a link from a site php nuke.org after downloading php nuke 8. they said you were the official uk php nuke site.
I post support and my post without explenation or guidance is put in trash bin with an abrupt link to a "we dont support 7.7 - 7.9"
Maybe the admins should update your site to tell visitors that you dont support 8 either, would have saved my time and yours ? Instead of posting what I deemed to be rude and abrupt links.
If you had taken the time to actually do some research beforehand you would undoubtedly be aware that the Nuke community frowns heavily on what FB has done to the little security there was in Nuke before he decided to implement the TinyMCE editor with version 7.7
We have notices all over the site saying we don't support versions 7.7 and upwards... including just above the button where you click to submit a post....
I only hope you didnt pay for it.... (version 8 that is)
Bear in mind that the admins here do have other things in their lives... one of the rules here is to actually search the forums before posting.....
Please don't tell the admins here how to run the site.....

And why was that? is it because there's absolutely no support over there even though you've paid for a product.

Did they? don't you mean you just clicked on the only UK site that is still operational from their community list.

Well we don't support 7.7 onwards, it's not only mentioned in a big red sign on our main page it is also on the registration page, obviously bright red in all places it is mentioned wasn't clear enough.

Well, maybe when I've got half an hour and if I can be arsed I'll update it but even if I do it won't be until there is a public release of it on phpnuke.org, why the hell should I offer help on something that someone else gets paid for.
You mention saving time, this is something you would've been better off doing if you'd used your loaf and not been foolish enough to buy a product from somewhere which openly states on the purchase page that no support is given, even worse buying a product without investigating the external community sites for that product to see how good or bad the community support is.
Anyway, take care my old mate and if you decide to use a more stable version such as 7.6 please feel free to come and ask our assistance, if not there are several support sites that will help with your version.
