block showing code, not pic
I have a block set up that I wish to put some HTML code in I got from the Weather Channel to show the current weather in my area. Well, the code works. I put it in an HTML editor and looks fine. I think it may be the way I set up my block. It says its an HTML block, but all that shows up in my block is code. I put the html tags around the code.
What am I doing wrong?
Try this:

Help:

I used the block creator you just showed me. I used HTML & also converted to PHP, but both times the block only showed the code.
Now I would show you the code... but apparently I dont know how to do that the right way. I have showed this code to others on 2 other sites, and both times I have been Temporarily banned (hope temp banned) from 2 site cause I didnt show the code correctly. Dont you just use the "code" tag in front and the "/code" tag in the end? What am I doing wrong here?
You use the [ code] [/ code] tags yes... (without the spaces...) BUT it will not allow Javascript - which is likely the reason you were blocked at the other sites.
It is likely to contain Javascript I reckon because of what it is.
You tried going to Admin - Blocks and just pasting the html they gave you into the space available and giving it a title and setting its left/right placement?
Got a url for us to see btw?

I just installed nuke and have a long way to go on the site.
I`m looking over the idiots guide to NUKE on this site, that may give me some insite.
Why have you pasted the php code from the block maker into a custom block in nuke admin? did you not read what you were supposed to do with the code in the help pages?
http://phpnuke-uk.net/modules.php?name=PHP-Nuke_Tools&file=index&func=HelpBlock
You are meant to create a file with the code.
Anyway, as an aside we don't support the version of nuke you are using, see http://phpnuke-uk.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=26050 for more info.
Sorry I did not see exactly how to create this block correctly. I am new to php Nuke. I just put up a site days ago. We were all here once. I should have read the help file but I have been flooded with information overload here since my site has been up.
But thank you I finally have the problem corrected.
Well as a new user of phpnuke take my advice and dump the version you have used to set your site up.
You are best using a patched and more secure version, 2 recommended versions can be found in the forum topic I linked you too earlier ^^^^^
Using either of those will cause you far less problems in the long term and it's far easier for you to start fresh now as you have no real content to lose on your site.
