Forum Latest post block that shows posts depending on access
Dear All,
Does anybody have a "Latest Thread / Last 10 posts" forum block that will display the latest post only to forums you have access to?
I have tried the forum block from
www.ourscripts.net and also the block from this post
http://phpnuke-uk.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=2325&highlight=private+block&sid=b21d67df3ddc28b8aeb42abc28bd9773
But none of them do the job.
I.e we have 4 private forums with 4 groups used to limit access to each forum.
We do not want regular users to even see the topic name in the latest forum post block, or even see that there is a private forum listed in the forum index.
BUT we want the users with access to the private forum to see the topic in the forum block.
I have seen many people asking for this, but cannot find a block that does the job?

What nuke are you running? It should already be in your block options...
The 1 I use here does what you want, it's this 1

Thanks for the replies guys, after seeing a lot of bad press on versions above 7.6, i deceided to scrap 8.0 and now use ravenuke 7.6, where this feature is built in!
