Quiecom Shoutbox 2.4 - no db tables
Hi All.
Would really like to use this shoutbox on nuke 7.6 , i really love it and used it on nuke 7.1. , however there does not seem to be any support from the author www.quiecom.com
I cannot get it to setup the database tables.
You are supposed to upload the files and then go to your site and point to this file /quiecom-shoutblock.php and then i do get a page where you have an install db icon , but nothing happens when you press it.
I have even tried installing older versions of nuke to get the tables setup so i could possibly cheat and copy the tables into my 7.6 database, but the tables do not get created.
Anyone out there that could give me some things i could try?

Go grab the 1 from ourscripts.net it should work fine.
Hi dar63 , we have tried that one, and yes it works ok, but it is of the scrolling kind, another option would be if somebody could help modify a scrolling shout to a non scrolling one.

Well why not ask in their forum how to stop it scrolling??
Many people have asked in their forums, for over a year, but no solution yet.
However i have some happy news, we had a file backup of our old mysql database when we used nuke 6 and quiecom.
So i managed to import the tables into my nuke 7.6 db, and now quiecom works great in nuke 7.6.
So if anyone wants the .sql file to run quiecom, PM me!
