Invalid IP ?
Sometimes when I try to visit this site, I get the message
Invalid IP used.
Obviously the rest of the time all is fine.

What's the ip you have problems with?
Not sure how to find that out TBH.

Hey,
Go to
http://www.dnsstuff.com/
On the very top of the page, your IP is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Thanks it's
84.64.105.51
Emmmm, that's obviously an ip you just came to the site with, thats no good, I need the "invalid" one.

That's the only one that was shown. Didn't know there was more than one, let alone which one is invalid.

Well you're ip must be dynamic and change each time you connect to the internet and that's why you get the message sometines.
Next time you get the message make a note of the ip, then disconnect from your internet and reconnect when your ip will've changed and you should be able to come back on a post the offending ip.
Received the error yesterday on
90.240.85.74
Definately changes. Different ip today as well.
That ip shouldn't be "invalid" anymore.
If it happens again with a different ip, post that and I'll remove it.
Thank you

i developed two sites using ravennuke recently. sentinel blocked users to my amazement. i had only banned users from turkey, brazil and the likes. turned out they have been using ip addresses that sentinel referred to as "reserved". pissed me off

You should import all IP's within Sentinel. In the past I've imported only updated IPs but ppl got blocked. To resolve this I had to import all IPs and block the ranges I wouldnt let access the website.
BL
what's the easiest way to import the addresses? i read somewhere about importing them using phpmyadmin, but that takes ages.
I'm sure you can get these updates from the sentinel developer site, you then upload them and import them via the sentinel admin section.
