Believe it or not the page views have gone up quite a bit since being removed from phpnuke.org.
Done what you suggested about the 6x forums.

| add forums for people to discuss nuke and web related topics? |
Surely the general topics cover this?

I suppose. I was just trying to think of a way for people to discuss things other then support queries. As most people won't return once their problem has been sorted. If there are areas away from support, then they may return.
Trying to branch off into something else would be a little difficuly what with the name of the stie but is any one even interested in anything else to branch of in ?
OOh welcome back Dashe from retirement!!
Thank you, good to see that you are still around too
I cant find the door!!!
Personally I think you should leave the site up, I know I don't post much on here any more, thats soley done to you and your team dar63 for all the help and advice you have given me in the past. (I know it all know) (He says with tongue in cheek).
I still however keep coming back in case I miss something, allthough you may not be aware of it.
You lot do a fantastic job and it would be a huge loss, this site is a valuable resource for anything nuke. Especially to us silent masses.
Regards.
Well I've re-organised some of the forums and moved some into different categories.
I've also added a Non Nuke Q&A forum to talk/discuss about anything.

I'm going to be adding some new news topics also so that articles are no longer restricted to phpnuke articles, it was only that way because we were in the phpnuke community module and in the faq's over there it was stated that "official community sites" must Publish news for PHP-Nuke ONLY (no competing products) but now we've been removed feck him.
Hey dar... i use the site regurally... dont post all that often but only when the answer cant be found using search... or i use crappy search teams and look with my ears...
would hate to see it go....
Im by no means an expert... but i have quite a number of nuke sites up.... some 7.6 and a couple 7.9 so i would be willing to TRY to help out with the 7.9 if you wanted someone to do so...
That is if you'll let an aussie help on a UK support site... LOL
Cheers
