PHP-Nuke Security - Been hacked? or have a question about securing your site, here's the place.

myself and all my admins banned from entering site

Hello,

i moved last week and when i was able to get back onto the internet and look up my site, I was greeted with this message:

"You are using an Invalid IP to access this site!"

At first I thought it was because I did not log out before I shut down and moved the computer to its new home, but then discovered that none of my admins can access the admin area. And, if like me, they cannot even get onto the site if they are automatically logged in.

Any thoughts?

It's to do with sentinel, you need to make sure the IP to Country entries are up to date or you could just do what was posted here.

ok, stupid question, in which section do i find that code that the link refers to?

add this to your config.php or rnconifg.php

You need to edit a file...

yes, that I understand, but as i went into the files, there are many different config.php files, not sure which one or where in the code to place it.

i feel like such a dork.

It needs to go into the one in your sites root.... it doesnt really matter where in there it goes though - put it under the config settings tho ie: after the database connection info - that would be as good a place as any.
