Hi tis me the ever disappearing Lucretia.

I've got quite a serious issue. I am trying to update my site and have Coppermine gallery 1.1 installed. This has user folders on the server for users to upload their piccies.
Trouble is is I have over 300 piccies I want to remove from my server. I cannot CHMOD them to 777 the are 633 and I cannot delete them. I cant do it via FTP, manual deletion, nothing.
Don't know what I should do as these piccies are slowing the site down and I just can't remove them.
I can delete piccies out of coppermine whilst using the program but it's deadly slow and I deleted 3 in an hour.
The gallery is so old it probably doesnt work properly or something.
