Visitors unable to register

Back to this again! Rolling Eyes

Can I please clarify what setting the login and user info block should be set on so that no security code appears please? I have both set to All visitors. I also have the Your Account module set to All Visitors and Navigation block to All visitors.

What setting do I need to remove the security code? Or is there some coding I can't remove? Sorry to ask again but it seemed ok for a bit now people are complaining that they can register/login coz the sec code is a red cross and some members can't access anything coz it says Admin area only - yet this doesn't affect everyone!

If you are running PHP-Nuke v6.9, just go into the config file and there is a setting in there to turn off the security code, just set it to 0
Code: :
$gfx_chk = 0;

If you not using v6.9, might i suggest you upgrade, it is more than likly the easier way, other wise you have to scoure through a few files removing code - its a pain really.

Sorry Dashe my error running 6.5

Just noticed in the unanswered section that someone else was experienceing this too.

Can you do a straight upgrade from 6.5 to 6.9?

Sorry I seem to be inundated with problems. Embarassed

Sorry just to add to this. I am running Coppermine and the Classifieds module by - oh forget it it's just locked me out of Admin again!

Grrrrr!

If you use the webinstaller I think you can.
