Allowing users to read messages but no post unless reg
I have looked around the forums on the site and can't find what I am looking for but what I am trying to do is similar to this site. I want to be able to allow users to view all messages in the forums but if they try to reply or post, then they must either login or create an account, just like it is on this site. I have looked everywhere in my admin forum and pref settings and came up with nothing.

If you are using phpBB like this site - access the admin area then forums - in the forums control panel select 'Forum Permissions' - choose a forum (look up forum) and click the advanced link - set POST and REPLY to REG and VIEW / READ to ALL - you will get the idea from here
