Coppermine
I just installed coppermine gallery on my nuke site but i as the Admin can upload pictures but when i log in as a user t gives me this message:

Now I know that this is not supported here but leaving messages on the prog. site has no effect. Anyway, I would appreciate any help on this. I have spent so many hours trying to figure it out and have had no luck so far.

I have the same problem on wf, it seems users need to create an album first, well that's the only way it worked for me.
Actually, what was happening is that there is a default category called userpics and that was the one i was clicking on I since created 2 other categories and you just set the permissions in them and it works great. Its just that one called "userpics" I can't get going so I am gonna try and create a user dir in there and see what happens. I know that Dirk got his own all setup but unfortunately I can't leave him messages because on his site I get a phpmail error. Anyway, I will let you know if I get it going.

The message still gets sent so he will get it.
Dunno why he has the smtp option turned on in his forum it all works fine without it.
the SMTP errors were partly my hosts doing - they have been adding a couple of security bits....
Like the readme for Coppermine says... you need to create an album first and set it to allow user uploads before any of it will work. As well as this you should throw at least 4 pics uo at the album - anything you like as before this has happened apparently ANYONE can access the admin functions.... well thats what was in the readme anyway.
The prob with smtp at my site should be sorted - I turned off my option there to notify me of messages and / or replies.
I figured out how to get the users to upload. I did create a couple albums and that works great. The problem I seem to have is with the default category they have setup in there. I can't delete it as its the parent category but I noticed on yours that you don't have it and you were able to create 3 seperate albums. On mine I can create an album in the parent but then it a sub category if you follow what I am saying. I don't know how to get rid of the parent category because it never lets me upload pics in there and I don't want to create a sub cat in there also.

Ah right - gotcha now... i created a new categroy first!! I Think!! Been a while!! Then I added the albums / gallerys to this new category.... I Think.... Been a while!!
What version you using?
I am using the same version as you are. But when I create a category and then for eg: If i named th ealbums 1, 2 and 3 then they are a sub cat of the main category and that's not how yours is setup. I like that fact tha on yours you just have the 3 albums and that's all. Well, I will go play around with it and see if i can figure it out.

HHmmm - without your module being active I can't see if its just a setting that you can see when in admin mode. Can't remember exactly how I did it like that to be honest...
BTW - LOVE the mouse overs on the menu items at your place !!
You mean the 'tips' on mouseover? - If so, yeah it was pretty hard for me to do. Took me a long time
If you want it let me know. I just added it all to the phpbb menu block and those are just text within the java script.
